rejecting coils and many standard and optional
system components are available mounted on
a cost-effective base.  Copeland Condensing
Unit Division offers a wide array of application
designs like: Air & water cooled, transport and
many others to meet specialized customer
requirements.

Discus

3 to 40 horsepower Discus reciprocating compressors are the most energy-efficient compressors available for all refrigeration applications.  The combination of superior energy efficiency, the wide range of size and models available, and a strong after market support network has made Discus the industry standard for many refrigeration applications.

 

Hermetic

1/8 to 5 horsepower hermetic reciprocating compressors provide cost effective solutions to systems requiring a wide range of evaporating capability.  Typical applications include food service, ice machines, and beverage dispensers.

Screw

Copeland offers a full range of screw compressors for refrigeration applications.
The low/med temperature lines of compressors range from 20 to 90 HP and provide high efficiencies and heavy-duty construction.  Additionally, the small size, low sound levels
and low vibration provide benefits in many applications.

In addition, there are further benefits to Copeland Screwª technology:

• Increased efficiency and capacity with
  economizer operation
• Integrated two-step capacity control and
  Vi regulation,
• High reliability with continuous operation due
  to the patented bearing lubrication system,
• Specifically applicable to parallel operation
  of up to six compressors on a rack.

For industrial refrigeration applications, such as process chillers, the Copeland Compact Screw compressors in the high temperature range, provide an ideal solution.  The integrated oil separator and oil reservoir significantly reduces the installation time, complexity, cost and space required.  These compressors are available in sizes from 50 - 140 HP and feature infinitely adjustable capacity control from 25% to 100%.

2 to 15 horsepower Copeland Scroll^¨ compressors are designed and built exclusively for refrigeration applications. Refrigeration scrolls feature fewer moving parts and are highly reliable.  Models are available for full temperature range applications, including low temperature to -40¡F.  In addition, many refrigeration applications are approved for lower condensing temperatures to 15¡F.

Semi-Hermetic

1/4 to 15 Horsepower semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors provide premium alternatives for systems requiring full temperature range performance including low temperature evaporating conditions to -40⁰ F.
